This draft explains how the Machine Minds website uses cookies and similar browser storage and how optional technologies are controlled through the site consent mechanism.

2. Necessary

Necessary storage supports core website operation, security and the storage of your consent choice. It remains enabled because the site needs it to provide those functions. The current consent record stores category choices, a timestamp and a policy version.

3. Analytics

Analytics is optional. If you grant this category, GA4 may use permitted storage to help us understand site usage and performance. The implementation does not currently enable Google advertising signals.

4. Functionality

Functionality is optional. It enables non-essential features such as the tawk.to live-chat provider. The third-party chat service is not intended to load until Functionality consent has been granted.

5. Marketing

Marketing is optional and reserved for future approved advertising or campaign technologies. The current site architecture does not use this category to enable Google advertising signals. Future marketing scripts must remain gated by Marketing consent.

6. Your consent controls

On a fresh visit, optional categories are not preselected. You can accept all optional categories, reject optional categories, or manage Analytics, Functionality and Marketing independently. Rejecting optional categories is designed to be reasonably as easy as accepting them.

7. Change or withdraw your choices

You can reopen the settings at any time using Cookie Preferences in the footer or the control below. Withdrawing consent stops future consent-dependent activity from the site to the extent supported by the configured provider; some previously stored provider data may require provider-specific deletion or expiry.

8. Updates

We may update this Cookie Policy as technologies or providers change. Material changes to the consent policy should increment the site consent policy version so visitors can be asked for a new choice when appropriate.
